DJ Friction Live in Portsmouth - 1Xtra Bass Tour February 2005

My oh my! What a set! Need to get a little pumped up and get the adrenalin flowing? Well, you won't go far wrong with this. The 'quartz-lock kid' DJ Friction smashes every conceivable thing up with this outrageously good set. The Shogun Audio head-honcho really shows his talents here and I still listen to this on a regular basis, even after five years.

Not only are classics including 'Tombraider', 'True Romance', 'Deadline', 'Trust Me VIP', 'Outerspace' and 'Stepping Stones' dropped (and in many cases double-dropped) but the electric atmosphere is also captured. Furthermore, SP:MC is on top form and compliments the set superbly. Grab this today...it's five years old but sounding fresh as a daisy!

  2. I live in Portsmouth and remember this night big time, I came to see the mighty Andy C, but Friction absolutely rinsed it! Probably the most fun I've had at a rave, let alone a local one! Wish DnB was still like this...
