Ned's Atomic Dustbin - Live/Bootleg Recordings - Did You Miss?

One of my favourite bands - Ned's Atomic Dustbin were a big part of my musical youth and last Christmas I was fortunate enough to see them live at the Shepherd's Bush Emire, London. A good evening with some good mates from school (cheers for organising the tickets, Tim A!), re-living our carefree years by jumping up and down to Godfodder - a performance marking the 20th anniversary of the release of the album - and a few bonus tracks.

I have found a few bootleg releases which may be of interest to fans of the band, or those who are wondering what the attraction is (especially after viewing the above photo!). All tracklistings are in the comments.

Radioactive was released on both CD and 12" formats, both with slightly different track listings. The 12" also has the wrong venue and date listed on the sleeve. THIS version contains all tracks from both CD and 12".

"Eight Year Half-Life" was concieved and put out by several members of the Ned's List in '98. Mike 'elixer' was the originator and contributed the music. Scrawl created the artwork and Khadejah mastered and burned the cd's. It was produced in limited numbers of approx. 50 or so, and distributed to list members only. Production was stopped at the request of Jonn Penney, who felt that the early Ned's demos were inferior, and was a bit embarrassed they were being distributed. Fair enough really. No more have been pressed since then, and this has become possibly the most sought after Ned's release. Grab it HERE.
